Carly Stokes
I live in Flitwick Bedfordshire but originally from Brighton.
I started working for The Safer Luton Partnership in September 2009 as LBAC Co-ordinator,
and then took on the additional position of SOS Bus Co-ordinator in Dec 2010.
Since starting the Role of LBAC co-ordinator I share my time between liaising with
Retail Crime, Luton CCTV centre and the local businesses that are members of the
scheme. We share vital information about prolific offenders in the area and support
any staff in their involvement with reprimanding offenders.
My role as SOS Bus co-ordinator is a very diverse role, wether it be recruiting,
training and organising volunteers, maintaining and looking after both SOS Bus vehicles
along with Arriva the Shires and Motorbodies Vauxhall, administrating the website
or fundraising for the project. I also work night shifts on the bus which is my favorite
part of the job, we have such an amazing team of volunteers it’s great fun working
with them.
