Community Space Challenge

 

The Community Space Challenge is a national initiative funded by the Big Lottery Fund. The Safer Luton Partnership has secured funding to deliver a 5 year project for the young people of  Luton. The project will develop and regenerate the area that they live in by turning neglected and forgotten areas of their neighbourhood into fresh spaces that everyone can enjoy.

 

 

 

 

 

          

 

 

 

 

 

The project will run in different areas of the town for each of the 5 years. Young people 8-17 will play the most important part of the projects; they will be the brains behind the planning and developing these new spaces.

 

The current project is based in Lewsey where young people have developed a community garden and allotment site
