On Track
Luton On Track
|
The On Track
project began in Luton in 2001 to raise community awareness of educational,
health and social services in Bury Park and to facilitate access to
these services. The On Track scheme is designed to help enhance the
level of childrens' services in the community, by providing better
opportunities for parents, teachers and schools to help children achieve
their full potential. |
Nationally, On Track primarily
works with children between the ages of 4 and 12, and has three core aims:
- To provide excellent early
provision of services to young children
- To develop continuous support
- To test what types of activities
work best to help children and their families to succeed
- An example of the project
work that On Track's family workers carry out can be found here.
Junior YIP
The Junior Youth Inclusion
Programme (or Junior YIP) acts as a bridging agency between the work of
On Track and the the work of the Youth
Inclusion Programme. |
